Settings is where you set up shipping + branding for your account. Tracking emails, tax forms, and suppliers are also set here.
This page is account-wide. Changes here affect future orders and apply to the whole team.
Getting to Settings
- Click the gear in the top nav
- Choose Settings
Branding (logo)
Upload your logo once so shipments and paperwork (packing slips) look like your brand.
What to do:
- Upload logo
- Click Save settings
Recommendations:
- .png is best.
- Transparent background, 1200 x 300 px or 1000 x 250 px
- Horizontal layout
- Minimal padding
Note: This is not a per-user preference. It’s for the whole account.
UPS billing (required for UPS labels)
If you ship UPS through Mesh, you need one of these set up.
Option A — UPS BYOCA (recommended)
BYOCA connects your UPS account so labels bill to your UPS account using your negotiated rates.
What to do:
- Add your UPS account #
- Click Connect UPS
- Complete the UPS connection flow
- When it shows Connected, you’re done
Notes:
- Pending is not the same as connected. If it’s pending, UPS labels may still require third‑party billing.
- Any team member who can access Settings can connect/disconnect UPS — pick one person on your team to own this.
Option B — UPS third‑party billing (fallback)
If BYOCA isn’t connected, Mesh can still bill UPS labels to your UPS account using third‑party billing.
What to do:
- Enter:
- UPS account #
- UPS third‑party billing ZIP
- Click Save settings
If you ever see an order shipping prompt that says your UPS billing details are missing, this is where you fix it: Settings → UPS Third‑party billing.
Shipping Identity (Blind Ship)
This controls what shows as the sender on the shipping label.
What to do:
- Fill in:
- Label company
- Label name
- Label phone
- Label email
- Decide whether to keep Use shop address on
- Click Save settings
Notes:
If "use shop address" is checked, labels keep our street/city/state/ZIP and overlay your Label company, label name, Label phone, and Label email on top of that address. That is the “blind ship” behavior.
If "use shop address is unchecked", the label uses the saved address fields on your default shipping profile instead of our address, with the same label company/contact overlay.
This is account-wide (it applies to the whole team).
Shipping Emails (tracking notifications)
Tracking emails are optional. You control who gets emailed and what they say.
You can configure:
- Notify internal team
- Notify end recipient
- Internal recipients (one per line)
- Reply‑To email (optional)
- Email subject
- Email body
Recommended defaults:
- Important -- **If you blind ship, keep **Notify end recipient off and forward tracking yourself. If you enable shipping notifications to the end user, our email will be exposed to the recipient (noreply@townsendprinting.com).
- For us to truly white label email, we will need you to configure DNS records on a domain that you control + DKIM, SPF, and DMARC review. For most, the two options above are usually sufficient. If you would like full white label email and can handle the server side config (its not too hard), submit a support ticket to set it up.
- Use Notify internal team to keep your team in the loop.
Tools you can use:
- Send test email to me (sends a test message to your user email)
- Reset to default (resets the subject + body)
TODO (optional GIF): Edit shipping email template + send test email

Suppliers
Suppliers are the names you pick from in POs + sourcing.
What you can do:
- Add a supplier name
- Disable a supplier
- Re-enable a supplier
Notes:
- There’s no delete. If you don’t want it used, Disable it.
- Only the account owner can add/disable suppliers. Non-owners can still see the list.
Sales Tax / ST‑10 (owner only)
Sales tax forms are managed on a separate page. ST-10's are mandatory for contract customers.
To upload or manage ST‑10:
- Go to Settings
- In the Sales Tax Exemption (ST‑10) card, click Manage ST‑10
- Upload your ST‑10
Rules:
- Only the account owner can manage ST‑10.
- Upload types: PDF, JPEG, PNG (up to 10 MB)
- You’ll see a status like Submitted / Approved / Needs changes, plus an expiry date if one is set.
TODO (optional GIF): Manage ST‑10 upload

Permissions (quick summary)
- Most Settings can be edited by any team member who can access
/account/settings. - Suppliers and Sales Tax (ST‑10) are owner-managed.
Best practice: pick one person to “own” Settings so shipping doesn’t drift.
